The Casual Male Look

I'll admit that Street Style is my first option when it comes to MY style, but sometimes I like to switch things up. Casual or the upscale casual male look doesn't always have to be boring. You can always add some things to make it more interesting. The cardigan, plaid shirt, pants, and boat shoes combo, can be perfect for a nice Spring or Fall day. Try adding a more street inspired/ laid back shirt or cardigan to add some of your personal style to it. Don't over do it and make it to preppy, like they were doing in 2009.
Accessories are always essential for your look, whether sunglasses, watch, bracelet, chain or hat it can be what defines your outfit. I have to admit until recently I thought accessories were irrelevant in Menswear (Or at least in my style), but sometimes on a laid back day throwing on a pair of sunglasses or a nice hat can make you look cool. When heading into the office you can always keep it "Mad Men", or "GQ" inspired. Pair a long coat and scarf with your usual office look to give it that spark!
